Heaven Invading Earth By My Declaration

Here's the thing. We owe the world a better demonstration of who God is.

Who believes this?

I believe it with all I am.

Sometimes it's painfully even my tendency to want to apologize to some people for the way "Christians" behave. So often I find myself whispering, "I'm sorry... that's not a good interpretation of the God I serve."

The reality is that there are hurting people all around us... those who are barely hanging on. And they deserve a proper illustration of who Jesus is and what He longs to do for them.

For some time now I have been fixated on a particular verse. It has woken me out of bed in the middle of the night, and I believe in it's words so powerfully!

Psalm 27:13, "I am confident of this, I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living."

Confident!
It means strong belief; full assurance; no uncertainty; excessively bold; trustful; certain; positive.

Yes!

This!

I owe the world a more accurate viewpoint of Him. And I understand that I cannot do that when I am maintaining any sort of wavering doubt in His ability and faithfulness.

And I understand there are impossibilities in all our lives.
Cancer that needs eradicated.
Friendships that need mended.
Marriages that are desperate for reconciliation.
Finances that need restored.

And these impossibilities are not impossible for my God.
They must bow at the name of Jesus.

And that comes through my declaration.

I MUST declare the goodness of the Lord.
I MUST speak it often.
I MUST recite His works and His ways.

This is a co-laboring with the One who called me to a higher purpose... "Go and make disciples." And I can only do this with proper representation.

He is good.
He is the God of impossibilities.
He is faithful.
He does still defeat enemies.
He is the Great Physician.

And by my declaration, these mountains of impossibilities bow.

I DO believe I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of living.
In the land of living!
This isn't something I'm waiting for eternity to see!

THIS is heaven invading earth!
Here... Kingdom come!
