My heart breaks so many days.
It breaks for those who are suffering from loss. It aches for those still experiencing pain and weariness and sadness.
And so I begin my day with the words of declaration. Words I’d spoken
to a friend of mine a couple months ago. Lord, give us Kingdom-Centered
Mindsets.
It matters.
And I found myself journaling the thoughts about the realities of
Kingdom living. Because didn’t Jesus say it’s already here among us?
“For the Kingdom of God is already among you.” (Luke 17:21). It’s among
you. It’s among me. It’s within grasp. And we get to be carriers of
the Kingdom. To assert Kingdom presence now. To infuse Kingdom
perceptibility now.
Because the hurting need healed.
And the suffering need hope.
And the lost need found.
And so I look to the journal entry and I make it a cry of my heart.
There is no:
depression in Your Kingdom. No sadness in Your Kingdom. No worry in
Your Kingdom. No doubt, fear, anxiety, stress, condemnation, shame,
sickness, guilt, comparison.
And if it doesn’t exist there, it’s not allowed to exist here.
There is:
freedom, love, mercy, acceptance, joy, peace, access.
Wait, access? Yes! Access!
The ability, right, or permission to approach, enter. Admittance. Privilege. To make use of something. Passage.
I have access to Kingdom realities. And I have a choice to insert them
into my world. Because after all... isn’t the whole point here... this
side of eternity... to bring His world to my world until my world looks
like His?
Yes! That!
Let’s boldly declare what we’re believing for here! He’s more merciful and compassionate than we give Him credit for!
