Steward The Blessing Well

The Bible teaches that all the sick people who ever came to Jesus were healed.

All of them.

"...He healed all the sick among them." (Matthew 12:15)

"Everyone tried to touch him, because healing power went out from him, and he healed everyone." (Luke 6:19)

"Crowds came from the villages around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those possessed by evil spirits, and they were all healed." (Acts 5:16)

I love reading about the times Jesus performed healing miracles. And every time I do, I think, "Amen! I will take that for myself!"

I was talking with a friend the other day and we were discussing her terminal diagnosis. A diagnosis that neither of us are coming into agreement with.

And she's even begun to recite it... "Divine Healing is mine in Jesus' name."

Because while the enemy cannot read our thoughts, he most certainly CAN read our frame... our body work.. our countenance... and he can discern when one of his fiery arrows has made it past the surface of our skin. He can determine when the affects of his manipulation and evil tactics have gotten the best of us.

Jesus healed all.

And He's not only fully able to heal whatever ails you... heartbreak, guilt, fear, physical pain, mental illness... He also WANTS to do it for you.

Isaiah 30, verse 18 says, "Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion."

He longs to be compassionate toward us.

Don't you just love that?!

And so I whispered it to my friend the other day, "Say it out loud as often as you can. Say it so the enemy hears it... 'I AM HEALED IN JESUS NAME!' And because of that you're going to be a walking testimony for all you come in contact with!"

I also asked her this one simple question to wrestle with... "How are you going to steward that healing when it comes?" I asked her to think about that now... AS He's doing it. Consider the ways you will give thanks, the ways you will honor your healing to draw others into a relationship with Him, the manner in which you will celebrate the goodness of the Lord!

He longs to be faithful.
He healed every one of them.
I receive that for myself!

God, help me to steward well the blessings You abundantly give!

It really, really matters!
