I had this thought this morning.
And it happened as a result of
my daughters tough morning running to her destination at the airport,
nearly frantic because lines were longer than expected and she believed
she was going to miss her flight.
Her text to me was, “worst experience of my life.”
And yes, she may be a tad over-dramatic just like her... mom!
But she made it to her destination.
And she was on time.
And she was safe.
And she was able to use the restroom.
And she was properly fueled by caffeine in advance.
Oh how our lives could be different if we approached every hardship
with this thought, “Yeah, but at least...” you fill in the blank.
It may be hot, but at least I have air conditioning to come home to.
I may be tired, but at least I have a nice warm bed to sleep in.
I may have a lot of bills that need paid, but at least I have a job and can work for my family.
It’s all about perspective.
How we SEE matters.
Our focus determine the forecast...
What we intentionally CHOOSE to focus on determines the weather conditions we must be okay with living in.
It may be difficult and challenging now, but at least there’s victory in Jesus Christ!
